The photographic process of Argyrotype was developed in 1991 by Mike Ware.
It is a further development of the Calotype process, the oldest Negativ-to-Positive photographic process of all. In contrast to Calotype, which used a paper negative, Argyrotype uses a large-format film or glass plate as a negative.
