Silverprint Emulsion to make cyanotype prints A and B.

Create wonderful blue prints with our 250 ml Cyanotype kit! Cyanotype is an old alternative photographic printing process that combines two chemicals together and when exposed under the sun with a negative or an object (like a plant) placed on the emulsion, creates a beautiful blue image.

A solution: ferric ammonium citrate

B solution: potassium ferricyanide

The complete set (2x250 ml) is capable of coating 200 8x10" sheets.  Cyanotype is an old monochrome photographic process that makes Prussian Blue print.

The technique was invented by the british scientist and astronomer John Frederick William Herschel in the 19th century. With the cyanotype technique, you can create photograms from objects plated on the sensitized paper or contact prints from a photographic (or digitally created) negative.

With Cyanotype (a.k.a. blueprint), you can beautifully print photographs & drawings and make photograms.

As the emulsion is UV and light sensitive you can easily make contact prints or photograms using sunlight, with no special tools needed.

Keep it in dark and dry conditions.
